Today was one of those cloudy, foggy winter days in Calgary. We don't get them very often, but when we do I'm always reminded how much I rely on the sunshine. I was feeling restless all day. Because of our recent Chinooks the snow has mostly melted and the ski and snowshoe trails were super icy. My solution? I got in my car, picked up a coffee crisp and drove until I hit a dead end. I ended up in Kanaskis. I've always thought food tasted better outside and sitting by the Kanaskis sign on the side of the highway. Number 12 on the list has been officially checked off! When I got back in the car to keep driving I turned a corner and finally found the sunshine I had been craving all day! ☀☀☀ Today was the first day that I intentionally set out to cross an item off the list! 1 down, 149 to go! ✔️

Meeting up with our cousins in Ottawa we would often pick another part of our country to explore, either a provincial park or further East. ArchivesCategories |
